Cat, this is a really good art-day! The forest is really setting a very different mood than the earlier battlefield scenes. I don’t have the vocabulary to talk about how you did the foreground v.s. background ferns (is that what’s called “negative space”?), but I love it.
One question – Dingbat’s eye in panel 1 looks Xed; at first glance I thought he was dead or unconscious. Or maybe that is exactly what happened? He doesn’t look brain-bunnied in panel 2. Maybe we changed our point of view to Dingbat’s inner self?

Woah. Quite a cut there, but man, that is some killer forest. Clearly you’ve been taking notes from Steve, kudos for delivering some really believable, atmospheric dark bark (so to speak?) Shitty if Dingbat got abandoned.
