Skip Williamson’s blog

Underground comix legend Skip Williamson has been posting some really amazing memoirs on his OpenSalon blog. Whether you’re familiar with his work or not, Williamson writes with a fluid and compelling narrative voice that reads like the best classic literature. One commenter put it, “This is the sequel to ‘On The Road’ that I’ve been searching after for 50 years!” I think this is a huge understatement. Peppered by occasional art posts, this blog is definitely worth a look when you have the time.

crumbgenesis

It hasn’t come out yet, but I’ve already got it on my amazon wish list. Yeah, can’t wait to read this one! It’s already stirring up some controversy, but honestly I’m just curious to see how Crumb tackles the angels having sex with mortal women to create a race of giants and the story of Cain and Abel. S’gonna be greatszz!!!!
