The morning sun shone bright

Time to dance the morning dance

You had left way before dawn

And I had to dance alone.

Was there more to say?

I thought I saw it in your eyes...

As we talked about the discrepincies in judgement,

fallacies in logic, and the gaping hole in my chest since that day we decided to become one.

That horrible day oh so long ago
(or at least seemingly so)

When the moon was cold, your touch was warm (so warm) and my brain boiled and bubbled in this caldron of a head of mine...

Empty now, empty again.

No one could have guessed or seen it coming.

Except the morning sun-

The secret you whispered to him

The very last time

we danced the morning dance
